Hi there! I'm Roy. I have over 12 years of experience delivering and facilitating training and learning, talks and workshops with young people, families and professionals. My experience includes working for one of the largest FE Colleges in the country and a major children's charity, as well as working in equality, diversity and inclusion within health and care research. I am now excited to be able to offer independent, bespoke training for schools, colleges, community organisations, charities and corporate clients on LGBTQ+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans and queer) topics. I'm based in Leeds in West Yorkshire but can work with you wherever you are. I hold an enhanced DBS certificate.
My Services
Staff Training
I can support your staff teams with learning and training on any LGBTQ+ topics. This might be a general session on identities and terminology, or include a particular focus on the topics that you need to explore, such as providing support to LGBTQ+ people in your context or creating inclusive environments.
Sessions for Young People
Workshops, talks or assemblies for children and young people of any age on LGBTQ+ topics - anything from an interactive session for Key Stage 2 on different families up to LGBTQ+ awareness workshops for Key Stage 4/Post-16 young people, or help with setting up an LGBTQ+ student group.
